Founded in 2002, Laura Wilson School of Dance, now based in its own dedicated studios in Holmes Chapel, teaches over 350 students a week across a range of disciplines. The main focus of our school is for students to have fun whilst developing an appreciation for music, movement and dance. We teach dance at all levels to children aged from 4-18 as well as adult classes, and we regularly host performances in local theatres and other venues. We also prepare our students for higher-level auditions, with a number of former students successfully entering the English Youth Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre School. All students are given the opportunity to take internationally recognised exams with the Royal Academy of Dance
(RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD)
